A Basketball Free Throw Shooting Contest for children and their adults!
Have some fun, show off your skills and you could even win a can of cranberry sauce, a bag of stuffing, a baked pie or even a turkey for your Thanksgiving Dinner!! 
 

Turkey Shoot
Date: Tuesday, November 19, 2024
Time: 6pm- 8pm
Grades: K- 8
Location: Oxford High School
Fee: $2 traditional shoot, $4 advanced shoot, per team per "shoot" (20 shots)

How it Works
Each team consists of 1 child and 1 adult (16 years & older)
Youths may only enter once. Adults may enter with more than 1 child.

Traditional Turkey Shoot
Each team member takes 10 free throw shots. For a total of 20 shots.

Are you up for our New & Improved Turkey Shoot Challenge!?
(2) Left Layups - (2) Right Layups - (2) Foul Shots - (2) 3point shots - (2) Free Choice Shots. For a total of 20 shots.

Go as many times as you want ... but only 1 Turkey per family will be given.
(When purchasing a second "shoot", please know that you will need to go to the back of the line to wait your turn again).

Total number of baskets made determines team prize!
- Get 6 out of 20 - win a can of cranberry sauce or gravy
- Get 9 out of 20 - win a bag of stuffing or mashed potatoes
- Get 13 out of 20 - win baked pies apple or pumpkin
- Get 16 out of 20 - win a TURKEY! or HAM! (Only 1 per team and 1 per family!)
*Winners of Turkeys and Pies will need to come to the Parks & Rec office, Wednesday November 27th, before Noon, to pick up items.

*No need to pre-register
*Just show up, enjoy the fun and show us what you got!
*Baskets will be lowered for children in grades K- 4th
*NO SHEETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER 7:45pm
