JACKSON COVE PERMITS

JACKSON COVE  

*Park passes will be required for vehicles and stickers for boats beginning Memorial Day weekend.

*Beach & Boat Passes may be purchased online at OxfordRec.com store and picked up at the Cove beginning Sat May 24th.

*Beach & Boat Passes may also be purchased at Jackson Cove beginning Sat May 24th 

*ALL purchases are by credit card only and require vehicle/vessel Registrations and Resident ID

*Kayak Storage passes go on sale May 14th, and must be purchased at the Parks & Rec office (Resident ID and Vehicle Registration is needed), (Cash or Check Only)

HOW TO PURCHASE A KAYAK STORAGE PASS (Residents Only)
  • RESIDENTS:
  • Rental Space is first come first serve, spots are limited to Oxford Residents only
  • Kayak spaces are rented from the Oxford Parks & Recreation Department annually and are valid from May 15- November 15, 2025
  • Kayaks are permitted to be on the storage racks beginning May 24th and must be removed no later than November 15th.
  • Kayak rental spaces are $125 + 1 beach pass the fee is non-refundable and are non- transferable.
  • Kayaks may only be placed on racks at the location for which you are granted a spot from the Oxford Parks & Rec department. Permit holders may not move their kayak between rack locations.
  • Only KAYAKS are permitted to be stored on the racks, NO CANOES
  • Kayaks are to be stored upside down and secured to the rack with a locked strap. It is recommended the kayaks be further tied down with bungee cords.
  • No kayak may be left on the ground, beach or in the grasses surrounding the kayak racks. They are only permitted to be stored ON the racks
  • Permit sticker must be placed on the front quarter panel of the kayak with the front end facing/nearest the water. The sticker must be visible on the end of the boat nearest the water to allow for inspections.
  • The Parks & Rec department may perform random inspections. Any violation of instructions and regulations may result in loss of a kayak permit and the forfeiture of all fees.
  • The Oxford Parks & Recreation Department is not liable for vandalism or damage done to your Kayak while it is stored on Town property. Please file a report with the Oxford Police Department should vandalism or thefts occur.
  • To purchase a Kayak Storage Space bring your Driver's License & Vehicle registration to the Oxford Parks & Recreation office from 9am- 1pm, Monday to Thursday to obtain your pass (462 Oxford Road) The Old Center School

HOW TO PURCHASE A BEACH PASS (Residents Only)
  • RESIDENTS:
  • Resident Beach Pass: $20 per car
  • PASSES WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLINE AT OxfordRec.com STORE AND AT JACKSON COVE BEGINNING MID MAY- SEPTEMBER
  • You can also purchase at the Park & Rec office at 462 Oxford Road Mon- Thurs: 9am- 1pm (Cash or Check only)
  • Create a household account if you don't already have one
  • On the left of the page, click on STORE
  • Once in the store, choose what you wish to purchase. i.e.; Resident Vehicle, Resident Boat, Resident Boat & Vehicle, etc.
  • To purchase a vehicle pass, you will need to enter your vehicle's license plate number (marker#)
  • Once you have made your choices, you can access your cart on the bottom left of the page.
  • Click on "check-out" to go to the payment page.
  • Once you have paid with your credit card, be sure to print your receipt.
  • Take your receipt to Jackson Cove Park along with your Driver's License, Vehicle Registration and Boat Registration (if purchasing a boat permit)

HOW TO PURCHASE A NON-RESIDENT BEACH DAY PASS:
  • NON-RESIDENTS:
  • Non-Resident Beach Pass: $60 (Mon- Thurs), $150 (Fri- Sun & Holidays) per vehicle (No Season Pass)
  • Create a household account if you don't already have one
  • On the left of the page, click on STORE
  • Once in the store, choose Non-Resident Day Pass
  • Cart is located on the bottom left of the page
  • Click "CHECK-OUT" to bring you to the payment page
  • Pay online
  • Print receipt and bring to Jackson Cove to receive your day pass
  • Passes are only good for the beach- it does not give access to the boat launch

HOW TO PURCHASE A MILITARY BEACH OR BOAT PASS (Residents Only)
  • RESIDENTS:
  • PASSES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT JACKSON COVE OR ONLINE AT OXFORDREC.COM
  • Active or Retired Military are eligible for ONE FREE Vehicle Pass
  • If purchasing a military pass for your vehicle and boat, the fee is $40
  • Create a household account if you don't already have one
  • On the left of the page, click on STORE
  • Once in the store, choose what you wish to purchase. i.e.; Resident Vehicle, Resident Boat, Resident Boat & Vehicle, etc.
  • To purchase a vehicle pass, you will need to enter your vehicle's license plate number (marker#)
  • Once you have made your choices, you can access your cart on the bottom left of the page.
  • Click on "check-out" to go to the payment page.
  • Once you have paid with your credit card, be sure to print your receipt.
  • Take your receipt to Jackson Cove Park.
  • Along with your receipt you will need your driver's license, vehicle registration, boat registration (if purchasing a boat permit) and your Military ID or DD 214

HOW TO PURCHASE NON-RESIDENT BOACH LAUNCH PASS
  • NON RESIDENTS:
  • Non- Resident Boat Launch Pass $450
  • PASSES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT JACKSON COVE OR ONLINE AT OXFORDREC.COM
  • Create a household account if you don't already have one
  • On the left of the page, click on STORE
  • Once in the store, choose what you wish to purchase. i.e.; Resident Vehicle, Resident Boat, Resident Boat & Vehicle, etc.
  • To purchase a vehicle pass, you will need to enter your vehicle's license plate number (marker#)
  • Once you have made your choices, you can access your cart on the bottom left of the page.

PICKING UP JACKSON COVE PASSES
  • PASSES MAY BE PURCHASED THROUGH THE ONLINE STORE AND AT JACKSON COVE
  • PICK UP PURCHASED PASSES AT JACKSON COVE PARK (Registration needed)
  • Kayak passes may only be purchased at the Oxford Municipal Annex (462 Oxford Road) Mon- Thurs (9am -1pm)
