JumpBunch offers a safe way for toddlers and preschoolers to engage in fitness games and learn new sports skills.  Every aspect of the class experience is designed to be both fun and beneficial to the development of young minds and bodies. A variety of sports/fitness games in a non-competitive and play based learning environment are introduced each week.  Classes begin with warm-ups which include exercises and stretching to themed music that children enjoy. This is followed by the core sports activity selection for the class, an obstacle course that constantly changes, and classes conclude with a cool down huddle where we review skills and successes of the class. Program allows children to experience sports & fitness activities hands on as each child is provided with equipment for each class!!!

Strength and tone is a muscle building and conditioning class focused on developing strength and muscular endurance.  Class will use functional movements through the use of a variety of controlled exercises.   A mixture of heavy and light dumbbells, resistance bands, and body weight will be used to sculpt and define arms, back, legs and glutes.  There is also an intensive abdominal/core component
 
7:15 PM - 8:00 PM    Cardio Kickboxing - Cardio Kickboxing
A high-energy non-contact workout that challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike.  Kickboxing is a cardiovascular exercise that improves your VO2 max and decreases resting heart rate.   All punches and kicks are thrown into the air or onto pads. It’s a high-energy workout that can burn between 350 and 450 calories an hour, according to the American Council on Exercise. Your elevated heart rate moves into in an intense zone in which cardiovascular conditioning takes place.Build stamina; improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout.

Instructor, Amba Jeanne Dziewulski:Jeanne began her formal study and practice of yoga in 2003.  She went on to become a certified yoga teacher from Kripalu; her teaching style is slow, deep and gentle, emphasizing concentration on the breath and allowing movement to flow from the breath. She tailors each class to the level of the students participating: sometimes strengthening and vigorous, sometimes gentle and restorative, always attentive, present and accepting.  Quiet sitting, breathing and guided relaxation is incorporated into each class.Jeanne received kundalini awakening from Shri Anandi Ma in 2005 and continues her dedicated immersion in the traditional yogic lifestyle. Her practice includes Patanjali's "eight limb path" of astanga yoga: yamas (restraints), niyamas (observations), asana (postures), pranayama (breath control), pratyahara (the conscious withdrawal from the agitation of the senses), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (oneness).

Strength and tone is a muscle building and conditioning class focused on developing strength and muscular endurance.  Class will use functional movements through the use of a variety of controlled exercises.   A mixture of heavy and light dumbbells, resistance bands, and body weight will be used to sculpt and define arms, back, legs and glutes.  There is also an intensive abdominal/core component
 
7:15 PM - 8:00 PM    Cardio Kickboxing - Cardio Kickboxing
A high-energy non-contact workout that challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike.  Kickboxing is a cardiovascular exercise that improves your VO2 max and decreases resting heart rate.   All punches and kicks are thrown into the air or onto pads. It’s a high-energy workout that can burn between 350 and 450 calories an hour, according to the American Council on Exercise. Instructor, Amba Jeanne Dziewulski:Jeanne began her formal study and practice of yoga in 2003.  She went on to become a certified yoga teacher from Kripalu; her teaching style is slow, deep and gentle, emphasizing concentration on the breath and allowing movement to flow from the breath. She tailors each class to the level of the students participating: sometimes strengthening and vigorous, sometimes gentle and restorative, always attentive, present and accepting.  Quiet sitting, breathing and guided relaxation is incorporated into each class.Jeanne received kundalini awakening from Shri Anandi Ma in 2005 and continues her dedicated immersion in the traditional yogic lifestyle. Her practice includes Patanjali's "eight limb path" of astanga yoga: yamas (restraints), niyamas (observations), asana (postures), pranayama (breath control), pratyahara (the conscious withdrawal from the agitation of the senses), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (oneness).

JumpBunch offers a safe way for toddlers and preschoolers to engage in fitness games and learn new sports skills.  Every aspect of the class experience is designed to be both fun and beneficial to the development of young minds and bodies. A variety of sports/fitness games in a non-competitive and play based learning environment are introduced each week.  Classes begin with warm-ups which include exercises and stretching to themed music that children enjoy. This is followed by the core sports activity selection for the class, an obstacle course that constantly changes, and classes conclude with a cool down huddle where we review skills and successes of the class. Program allows children to experience sports & fitness activities hands on as each child is provided with equipment for each class!!!

We will be exploring asana to improve coordination, balance, strength and flexibility without focusing on a student's appearance.  Students will learn meditation and mindfulness techniques to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep quality and build emotional strength.
