Get creative with Stitch & Felt with Abi, a hands-on fiber arts after-school program designed to introduce participants to a variety of traditional and modern textile techniques. Over the course of 6 weeks, students will explore a new fiber art skill each week while completing a small project they can take home and be proud of.

This class is perfect for beginners and encourages creativity, patience, and fine motor skill development in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Class Details

Summer Sewing:
This fun program is for beginners! You'll learn how a sewing machine works, threading a machine, cutting patterns and all about fabrics. Participants will create fun projects like a shopping bag, a zipper pouch, a drawstring pouch, scrunchies, and more!

Dates: June 29 - July 2
Ages: 10 and up
Time: 10 am - 3 pm (half hour for lunch)
Location: Oxford Center Municipal Annex (462 Oxford Road)
Fee: $200
Min / Max : 3 to run the session, 10 max
Instructor: Miss. Abi
Notes: Participants would create 1 project per day or 2 if a project finished early.
