3:30 PM - 5:00 PM    Pure Imagination - Pure Imagination Casting
Oxford Park and Recreation will present Pure Imagination, Jr on June 11 - 12 This program aims to provide students with a unique opportunity to explore their artistic talents, foster teamwork, and enhance their confidence through musical theater. Over the course of the workshop, participants will engage in intensive workshops led by experienced professionals in acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft. The culmination of their efforts will be a musical performance, showcasing the diverse skills and creativity of our talented students. This initiative not only contributes to the cultural enrichment of our school community but also promotes personal growth, collaboration, and a lasting appreciation for the performing arts. The proposed drama spring workshop  promises to instill a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie among participants while leaving a lasting positive impact on the Oxford School community.Pure Imagination Rules:Students must attend all rehearsals. Rehearsal dates and meetings will be distributed to students on a live document that will be updated as needed. If a student is absent, it prevents others from getting the most out of rehearsal time. If a student is absent from school, they may not attend rehearsal that day. Students may be excused from a rehearsal for illness, emergency, or previously approved conflicts. More than 3 unexcused absences can result in removal from the role in the show. All known conflicts must be communicated by a parent/guardian in advance. Being respectful, kind and encouraging towards others creates a safe environment to create in. We're a team! Disrespecting others, not following directions, disruptions during rehearsals and/or vandalizing school property are all grounds for removal from the production. Students accept the role (character/leadership) they are assigned for the success of the show. This is an auditioned show: If a child is not selected for the cast at the auditions there will be a full refund.  By enrolling, students consent to audio and visual recording of performances and rehearsals. Two, or even three casts may be cast. Times of rehearsal might change if an OMS only cast is determined. Depending on enrollment we may have an “old” and a “young” cast.
