Calling all pint sized pasters and crafty creators! This open-ended process focused art class is the perfect way to introduce your little ones to the wonderful world of sensory and creative art! Children 18 months and up will explore various sensory materials, collaborative painting projects, open ended materials, and the FREEDOM to move at their own pace and on their own time while making NEW FRIENDS!!!  Come have some fun and leave the mess for us!!

The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at their level of ability, from novice to international competitor. All of our coaches, as members of USA Swimming, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification programs for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that time spent in swimming will be quality time. We are a non profit club run by its elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers.

Instructor, Amba Jeanne Dziewulski:Jeanne began her formal study and practice of yoga in 2003.  She went on to become a certified yoga teacher from Kripalu; her teaching style is slow, deep and gentle, emphasizing concentration on the breath and allowing movement to flow from the breath. She tailors each class to the level of the students participating: sometimes strengthening and vigorous, sometimes gentle and restorative, always attentive, present and accepting.  Quiet sitting, breathing and guided relaxation is incorporated into each class.Jeanne received kundalini awakening from Shri Anandi Ma in 2005 and continues her dedicated immersion in the traditional yogic lifestyle. Her practice includes Patanjali's "eight limb path" of astanga yoga: yamas (restraints), niyamas (observations), asana (postures), pranayama (breath control), pratyahara (the conscious withdrawal from the agitation of the senses), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (oneness).

Visiting the pool is a great activity where individuals and families can enjoy swimming together. We reserve “Open Swim” time at the Oxford H.S pool so that Oxford residents can enjoy time to play, splash or swim laps.

At Play-Well TEKnologies, we know that kids are already naturally gifted creators. What we strive to provide is an environment where students can create without fear mistakes, explore fundamental STEM concepts through play, and express their creativity in ways they never thought possible. With tens of thousands of LEGO® pieces and the guidance of our passionate instructors, the possibilities are truly endless! We will provide all materials for the course each week. There is no ‘take away’ LEGO that goes home with the child after camp, only memories and new building skills!
 
6:00 PM - 6:45 PM    Sculpt & Tone - Sculpt & Tone
A body sculpting class combining functional strength-training exercises to help burn calories, increase flexibility and tone muscles. This class will focus on adding definition to your physique with higher reps and lower weight.All levels are welcome as modifications will be shown.

Instructor, Amba Jeanne Dziewulski:Jeanne began her formal study and practice of yoga in 2003.  She went on to become a certified yoga teacher from Kripalu; her teaching style is slow, deep and gentle, emphasizing concentration on the breath and allowing movement to flow from the breath. She tailors each class to the level of the students participating: sometimes strengthening and vigorous, sometimes gentle and restorative, always attentive, present and accepting.  Quiet sitting, breathing and guided relaxation is incorporated into each class.Jeanne received kundalini awakening from Shri Anandi Ma in 2005 and continues her dedicated immersion in the traditional yogic lifestyle. Her practice includes Patanjali's "eight limb path" of astanga yoga: yamas (restraints), niyamas (observations), asana (postures), pranayama (breath control), pratyahara (the conscious withdrawal from the agitation of the senses), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (oneness).

Oxford Park and Recreation will present Matilda, Jr This program aims to provide students with a unique opportunity to explore their artistic talents, foster teamwork, and enhance their confidence through musical theater. Over the course of the workshop, participants will engage in intensive workshops led by experienced professionals in acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft. The culmination of their efforts will be a musical performance, showcasing the diverse skills and creativity of our talented students. This initiative not only contributes to the cultural enrichment of our school community but also promotes personal growth, collaboration, and a lasting appreciation for the performing arts. The proposed drama spring workshop  promises to instill a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie among participants while leaving a lasting positive impact on the Oxford School community.

At Play-Well TEKnologies, we know that kids are already naturally gifted creators. What we strive to provide is an environment where students can create without fear mistakes, explore fundamental STEM concepts through play, and express their creativity in ways they never thought possible. With tens of thousands of LEGO® pieces and the guidance of our passionate instructors, the possibilities are truly endless! We will provide all materials for the course each week. There is no ‘take away’ LEGO that goes home with the child after camp, only memories and new building skills!
